In this new series of oil paintings, Peltz has concentrated on capturing beauty through the figure and still life, with an eye on ornamentation. Bold color, shapes and patterns are balanced by finely nuanced details in her signature realistic, expressive style.
Combining her love of the figure and organic forms, multi-media painter Eileen Kane presents a series of blissful works that suggest movement within specific landscapes. The figures seem to sway and dance among the flowers and leaves, buoyed by the energy emitted by the electric colors. Though different in style and subject, the two groups of pieces resonate with line, color and form.

Drawing on the deep cultural heritage of her native Uganda, oil and acrylic artist Veroniccah Muwonge employs a painting st yle of simple figure and object shapes accented by textured surface treatment to portray an almost minimalist interpretation of African life. Her use of intense warm colors balanced by cool, tropical blues and greens accentuates the contemporary sensibility of her work.
